The HP high performance computing team has partnered with IBRIX to validate the IBRIX Fusion™ software utilizing HP ProLiant servers, HP StorageWorks storage arrays, connected by an HP ProCurve Ethernet switch, and an HP StorageWorks SAN switch. This Linux based storage subsystem provides a high performance distributed inode storage cluster. IBRIX Fusion enables single file systems that can scale to up to 16 petabytes, and provide up to 1 terabyte/sec of aggregate I/O throughput.
