This document provides validated configurations for Microsoft® Exchange Server 2003 on an HP ProLiant Storage Server device running Microsoft Windows® Storage Server 2003 through an addition from Microsoft called the Feature Pack. The Feature Pack enables placement of the databases and logs for one or two Exchange servers (either Standard or Enterprise edition) and up to 1,500 mailboxes on a single Windows Storage Server device. This paper provides solution details, performance testing results, and best-practices.
