This newest version of the HP Sizer for Microsoft Exchange Server 2007
provides HP ProLiant server and storage sizing guidelines for Exchange
solutions. It uses the results from HP's solutions engineering labs and
characterization testing to provide configuration details for Exchange
2007 Server roles including mailbox servers, hub transport servers,
client access servers, edge servers and unified messaging servers.
Included is support for high availability solutions including Local
Continuous Replication, Cluster Continuous Replication, Standby
Continuous Replication, and Single Copy Clusters. HP’s StorageWorks
Sizer is also integrated, providing the ability to size a SAN or
direct-attached storage infrastructure as part of the Exchange
environment. This Sizer provides a choice of server platforms including
BL, DL, and ML configured with either Intel or AMD processors.
The Sizer generates recommendations based on a combination of user technical and business requirement input, and best practices recommendations for highly-available, high-performance Exchange deployments.
Once this Sizer is installed, updates can be downloaded automatically to the underlying software engines that are necessary to provide support for HP server and storage product information details.
